don't know that much about the science of football.
but, say your first string right handed QB got taken out, and the second stringer had to come in.
and he was left handed...so you'd want your pass protector on the right side, as opposed to the traditional left side.
how would this play out?

So you're asking if american football obeys parity conservation laws?

you gotta protect your blindside
so the pass protecting tackle goes on the left side (when the qb is right handed, which most are)
but what if the QB is a lefty, do the tackles switch?

Yes and no. She's wearing a dress, but you can't see it.

I'd be much more help to this thread it I had any idea how to play football.

:cow:

yeah you are scaring peeps away
when the see your name they either think: manowar, uncomfortable flirting, or sciency stuff...and they don't post
:(

Is it possible yes, does it happen that often, NO! Left tackles are the marquee linemen and rarely move to the right side. Sometimes when they are still serviceable, but getting a little older will move. Protecting a quarterbacks blindside is one of the most difficult positions in football.

You know a good book is "The Blind Side, Evolution of a Game" by Michael Lewis. It's about a guy named Michael Oher. He is actually projected as the second or third best left tackle on the board in the upcoming draft. He played for Ole Miss. Guy is a beast and his story is truly one of the most inspirational things I have ever read in my life.

backus i think is a good bro.
kinda a jounreyman, but keep him if possible
can a player move from left to right?

no bino, switching mid game like that would be retarded. In fact, they don't switch tackles at all based on who the qb is. A good left tackle doesn't "automatically" become a good right tackle if the qb becomes a lefty. Some olines do switch around during the season, but moreso out of injury necessities or just garbage line play. Good olines don't move around, especially not for what arm the new qb might be throwing with. For pass protection it might not be that different, but for run plays it would be chaos.

what, you weren't captain of your HS football team like java?

:lmao:

Digi was a captain as well :lmao:
