Protestors in ME, etc. at least have the guts to protest the president by name. People are so PC out there, they sitll refuse to say his name. They just wnat to make noise - let them. Then go back home and watch Dancing with the Stars.

I really hope these occupy people don't let the democrats turn them into their tea party. Otherwise we're just yapping up the old two party tree YET FUCKING AGAIN.

This indeed. Thinking about it, I have started to prefer the "chaotic" nature of the protest and its message. Id rather a disjointed crowed drawing attention to an actual problem than another Tea Party arising being fed talking points.

At the end of the day, I think its stupid for anybody to expect these protestors to have three second soundbites than are solutions to the problems they are upset about.

Thats why we have elected officials.

I don't see them protesting to make the government any smaller.

They seem to want things like "fairness" which seems like a broad, poorly-defined concept to me. There also seems to be a lot of anti-capitalist thinking too.

The reason they wnat these protesters to have a few clear and concise messages is so that someone in washington can arrange a few soundbites and they say "see, we're listening and all will be good now just go home and watch DWTS or whatever mediocre swill is on tv right now". What seperates this from the tea party is that it's the start of a revolution and not just some angry old white people weary of their growing irrelevance. This is about the fundamental change of the fiber of our society and they know it which is why they're trying to parameterize it early
