Do Misdemeanor charges showup on background checks?

Do midemeanor charges show up on backround checks when applying for a job. I have some midemeanor charges I was arressted for and got 3 years probation. Is their any way to get that closed. The person that had the charges against me wants to drop them. Is it too late for that since I was already sentenced to 3 years probation.

Most jobs only care about convictions. They usually ask if you have ever been convicted of a crime or felony. Did you get convicted?? If you did, they will find it on your record.

And yes its too late to drop the charges.

You can have your record erased if you go see a lawyer. Misdeamanors other than DUI can be easily erased by filing the right paper work at the court house.

I am asking this because I have'nt had a job in a long time and have had many interveiws and some of them I was honest and put down I had misdameanor charges. When it shows up does it say exactly what charges were brought against me or does it just say I have misdameanor charges. I just turned 20 and only had one job in my life for 6 months at a fast food place at 17. What about security jobs? When it says must have no criminal record, does that just mean felonies
