So this is the situation, I own a house and I rent to a friend. Now my friend has his "friend" over ALLL the time. She showers here, she eats here, uses my food, uses my shampoo and all other bathroom things. She doesnt offer any help ever. She expects my roomie to cook and pick up after her. The chics that come around for me all hate her and it fucks up what I got going with them.
My question is do I have the right to start charging her rent???? I have no clue as to what to do. I am getting pretty sick of her but my roomate is cool shit.

Just tell her she'll have to help out with what she's using or she isn't welcome there anymore. I'd politely talk to your friend first, but you aren't out of line expecting her to contribute or cover what she uses.

Ive had a few conversations with him including one about the noises from there bedroom at 2am on week nites when I have to be up for work at 5:45. And Ive spoken to her about being here and acting as if she ownes the place.

You'r asking if you can charge her rent... So, even if you do, that will only soften the blowe. It's not worth it to have her around if she makes YOUR girlfriends uncomfortable and she doesn't help around the house and she uses your stuff etc... Right?

Sure, you'll get another check, but you can get a BETTER "housemate". Kick her out is a great answer but you also have a good friend to worry about. It's not as easy as it looks on the oustide. Maybe the extra cash will make you feel better. I don't know. Good luck man.
