Do I go with sirius or XM?

I would go with XM ...just me though
 
I would go with Xm since it has way better house/trance/techno and heavy metal stations..... sirus if u like stern... i dont listen to talk radio except Jim rome.. and yes i am one of the clones too... dont ask... i am a clone for jim rome
 
Yeah, I dont really care too much about stern. Just looking for some good rap and electronic music. Continuous play is more or less why I want it.

what are you driving? some car companies have deals and u can use your VIN for special prices etc.... its not the factory system like Bran has where it is intergreted into the dash but the VIN can save u some cash at the place u buy the XM

it like 9-11 dollars a month

Well, I'm getting this so I can swap it back and forth between two cars. The car I drive, 05 Jeep Rubicon and then my work vehicle for when I'm on the road. So, I dont plan on integrating it into the existing sound system, probably fm transmitter. I just need music, sound quality is good, but I dont really care much for top of the line sound systems in my car, so not too worried about that.

There are only 3-4 hip hop channels on XM, and one of them is old hiphop or something. I really enjoy XM, but dont know anything about sirius.
 
Go to any car audio forum and you will see a shitload of guys complaining about the sound quaility/signal of sirius. It supposedly cuts out briefly at times. I drove around for 2 weeks with XM (service loaner) and it was perfect, not once did it cut out and the stations kicked ass.

If you live near a major city , XM is the shit. the signal is great.

I went with Sirius, for Howard. Now that I have such a long drive to work I had to have it. There is a nice added bonus.... FREE PLAYBOY RADIO

Now I thought that it would suck, but the other night I got to hear the "whats in my ass" contest. Items were identified by eating them out of the ass of one of the hosts, while wearing a blindfold. Surprisingly good radio!!!!
 
Yeah, I'm definitely getting xm. Plus, there is a sale for the car kit at my local futureshop so it's all gooood.

I have Sirius - Mostly got it for Howard but I hate that the "friday show" is always old clips or other people etc. I know he has programming all day but all I care about is the 6-10 morning show that I have been listening to since I was like 6. I wish they would just do a normal show on fridays. Other than that Beat 36 is great (but i like cheesy music)
 
Do you like Stern??

I'm have Sirius and a friend has XM. The available music mix is basically identical. So, who makes you laugh, Opie & Anthony or Stern??
 
if you get it dont be complaining about supplement or gas costs. Xm is free on the internet and plus you probaly have an ipod and not to mention the radio, and cd's

lol, what's your point? I was just looking for a source of continous new music that I dont have to download.
 
OOOH OH OH >.i forgot to mention Ceaser...go to xmradio.com and sirius.com....they both offfer free 3 day online trials. SO you can check out their music programming and see exactly which one you prefer.

Yeah, I'm gonna get high and do some sample listening tonight.

I did that sirius sample trial thing when shade 45 first came out. It was good

I just want something for the summer too. For when I go driving out somewhere, I can pull up, open up the doors, stream my music and blazzeeee in during the summer night.
 
Ok, so I've been listening to both sirius and xm on my comp...so far sirius has had better playlists...
 
Holy fuck shade 45 has the funniest callers lollol, white guy's calling in talking like gangsters saying, "What's up my turboniggas?" to the two black hosts of the request show loll
