Do higher mg/ml concentrations kick in faster?

For example, if you have a 200mg/ml deca, and a 400mg/ml deca. One guy does 2 mls of the 200mg stuff, and another does one ml of the 400mg stuff. They both injected 400 mgs, but one guy did it with twice as much oil. It stands to reason that the less oil to breakdown, the faster the absorption, and quicker kick in. Thats just a theory, it may not make a big difference but I would think it does.

It makes no difference. The release of the hormone is dependent upon the ester that is attached to it. 200mg of substance A attached to the enanthate ester has the same release time as 400mg of drug A attached to the enanthate ester. The difference will be seen in blood concentration of the drug. The oil dissapates very quickly and doesn't just sit as a compact glob within the muscle. It is picked up and moved around by capilary blood flow in the muscle tissue at which point the ester is being acted upon by enzymes to cleave the active drug away from ester.

So your argument is that it releases at the same rate but the concentration is greater? If so, then that technically supports Finaject2001's idea that it kicks in faster (due to the higher concentration).

But aren't they injecting the same amount of test enth though? So it wouldn't be a different amount of test enth. I think Beezers may have worded it wrong

Yeah but wait a minute! How do you explain the much longer detection times of oil based steroids? Deca for example, can be detected for months and moths after the last shot. If there is something about the oil that allows it to stay in the body so long, how does that affect the breakdown and half life? Is it a combination of the esther AND the oil?
Hmmmm:finger2: :insane:

It doesn't kick in faster. There is just more gear. If I drop 600mg week of test compared to 300 then I will feel the 600 more. Its hard to spit it out.

guys u should read this study at t-mag

Volume and Concentration

Steroids come in all shapes and sizes. In other words, you can find nandrolone (or Testosterone or boldenone) esters in 25 mg/ml, 50 mg/ml, 100 mg/ml, 200 mg/ml and so forth. Is a 400 mg injection using two milliliters of a 200 mg/ml oily solution the same as using four milliliters of a 100 mg/ml solution? After all, the net amount is still 400 mg, right? Unfortunately, this isn’t the case.

Steroid concentration in the solution greatly affects the dynamics and kinetics. In this study, some of the men received a 100 mg/ml injection of nandrolone decanoate and other men received a 100 mg injection using a 25 mg/ml solution (which means they received four milliliters, of course). Those that received the 100 mg/ml injection reached significantly higher (between 30% and 50%) plasma levels of nandrolone than those who got 100 mg via the 25 mg/ml solution. To top it off, the 100 mg/ml group’s plasma nandrolone level stayed elevated for a little bit longer; however, the length of suppression of endogenous Testosterone was almost identical.

What does this tell us? It tells us that if we want to maximize plasma levels of hormone (and thereby, maximize gains in lean muscle) we want to opt for the most concentrated version of whatever steroid(s) we decide we’re going to use. If we’re using Testosterone, we surely want to use a 200mg/ml enanthate over something like 100mg enanthate. If we’re using nandrolone, we want to use Ttokkyo’s 300mg/ml stuff over 50mg/ml or 100mg/ml nandrolone decanoate made by others.
