Do guys feel uncomfortable around bodybuilders?

Does the average guy feel somewhat inferior around bodybuilders? As guys we are always "sizing up" other
guys, but some guys try not to look in fear they may
viewed as homosexuals, or raise some deep-seeded
homosexual fantasies. Or does the presence of a BB
next to them instill a lower self esteem?

What ? I look at huge body builders and it motivates me to train as hard as I can to look as best as I possably can even though there physique is almost un-attainable by the avarage person cause they don't have the time, money or genetics to look like that.

I'm with Mustang, I train at well known gym with some world class powerlifters and bodybuliders and when you see them train it just motivate the fuck out of me and makes me train harder. Just don't stare to long cause you will be viewed a homo. Later!!

I'm no HUGE bodybuilder yet, but even I notice that "average" guys seem intimidated around me. Especially if their women are with them. They don't make eye contact much and don't usually strike up conversations unless i talk to them first. I think it's probably natural to be a little insecure when you're around someone who looks a lot better than you.

At our gym, me and my workout partner are the biggest guys around. That's why I spend alot of time here....looking for motivation. I'm not bragging by no means....I'm 296 now and my bodyfat is 20%. But this place is so backwards.....Arkansas that is .

I am not intimidated. I don't feel inadequate next to a guy bigger than me, nor do i necessarily feel superior to a guy smaller than me.
Also every body builder I have met has been nice. Contrary to the stereotype of the raging monster.

I admire people i see at my gym that are closer to my goals than I am. I am comfortable enough with myself to see that and not worry that they may think I am gay.
