Do Dogs like Halloween Costumes?

I wondered the same thing. The answer is no. It took me about 20 minutes to battle the hat on while he cried and by then he's pulled the little boots off. OMG he's so cute though. I hope the pics turn out better next time.

I know a cat that has a pair of reindeer antlers that his owner terrorizes him with at Christmas.

He's a papillon. I forced the hat on him once more. I titled this one "shoot me". He looks angry. Right after this he tore the hat off and was violent with it. I didn't get to take a picture of the little devil tail on the back of the hat.

never heard of that breed...cute little dude he is. a gf of mine has a yorkie that I've grown fond of. I never used to like little dogs but now I'm partial, at least to this one.

2 things-- the scar on my hand is from gettig attacked by a dog when I was little. AND my nails are real.

The only thing my dog will wear are shirts. The spoiled kid wants to wear one when it's cold out because I don't turn the heat up high enough for him. He's a 95 lb. dobie named Hannibal, BTW. Mt kids are going to military school so this doesn't happen to them.

Here are my two dogs. The one on the right is an English Golden Retriever and he is going to be shown.

My dog was show quality until one of his nuts went back up into his body. Goodbye $800 investment into breeding. Damn it. $450 more to fix him because of the undescended testicle. Oh well.

I'll breed the bitch though once I get her. Gizmo's being agility trained since we can still get him championed that way even altered. But I'll show the bitch and probably breed her a time or two. I'm on a wait list for her. Paps only have 2-3 pups a litter. Only about 1 in 3 is female. That's why they cost almost double.

We tried to show him once and he growled at another male dog. Only male there. So we had to socialize him. He's getting there.

Show dog people are their whole own thing. I have my "dog school pants/shorts". I don't put cut up hotdogs and string cheese in my normal pants pockets. I run around with clickers and a mouth full of treats. In agility put a target in my pocket too and a dog toy hanging out of the back of my pants.

But it's a REALLY fulfilling hobby!
