Do all steroids affect HDL LDL

My only problem is low HDL and high LDL, not a good thing. Could have been all the years of ice cream abuse.

My cholesteral profile doesnt change to much on a cycle of test however, my buddys
ldl goes through the roof. Winny and anvar send my hdl into the 20,s

Long term AAS use can influence HDL/LDL values.....

Possible, yes.

Probable, not necessarily.

Any 17aa will negatively effect them, at least in moderate to higher doses. Stronger androgens also tend to have a negative lipid effect, like tren. Keep doses moderate and strong androgens like tren moderate, and don't eat like a total fatass( like I do).. you should be fine :)

I dont take tren or deca. I get better results from test and eq, I threw some winny tabs in too last time. Hey lowest, you ever used anadrols?

mine went from 17 to 34 in exactly one month.

My diet was high in fiber and I was taking a gram of niacin a day - it helped out substantially.

I've read that if you eat a whole onion per day that should help raise HDL, dont know if that has any truth to it, but it wont hurt to try.

try the niacin first. there's a whole slew of supplements for hdl/ldl. And I was also taking flax oil - you'll want to get those EFA's in your diet.

The real question is not if it effects your CHO levels but whether or not that makes any difference. There is no evidence that short term changes in CHO levels has any effect on CAD later in life. It simply doesn't matter. And most newer studies show that the lifestyle (sedentary) of those with high LDL has more of an effect on the odds of CAD than the lipids themselves. So having bad lipid profiles if you're an active athlete probably doesn't matter either.

^^^there goes Ulter, debunking those myths.....

Winstrol has the most drastic effect on HDL and LDL ratio that I have seen. Most injectibles (Tren, deca, test etc..) have very little effect on cholesterol.

I would invest in a very cheap supplement called Policosanol. It can be very effective in regulation cholesterol. Also, stay away from 17aa's, especially winstrol.

Yomama, yes I've used anadrol. Worst I remember my lipids being was after 6 weeks of winny though, my HDL was 9! Total was still low, and LDL wasn't insanely high... I just had basically no good cholesterol. So now I take my EFA's and niacin regularly, and stay away from bad fats and cholesterol surplus when bulking.

So I can keep eating shit food as long as I work out and do the treadmill a couple days a week? WooHoo!

Are there any oral steroids that are not 17aa?

None that I can think of.

The 17AA molecular structure allows the drug to stay in the body longer as it takes longer to break down in the liver.

It's a double edged sword........as you want the 17AA or you'd have to take in more frequent dosages to keep steady blood serum concentrations.
