How permanent is the fatloss, i.e. is there a rebound of fat gain or do you keep it off with a clean diet? It just seems that, from what I've seen, many users of DNP seem to be repeat users. But since DNP is so good for fatloss I would think 1 or 2 cycles should be enough unless you keep gaining back some fat. What are your experiences?
 
Fat loss is as permanent as it would be on any diet/supplement regimen - obviously if you eat like a pig, the fat is going to come back. Off the top of my head, the only other way to get a "rebound fat" effect after ceasing DNP, is if you did it high dose for a long time without the proper supplementation, and burned out your thyroid. Those with more bug spray wisdom than I, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't speak for everyone who's used it, but for me, the results were amazing in a short period of time. Suffer for a month dieting those last few pounds off the old fashioned way, or suffer for a week on DNP? Tough choice. Can't argue with striations. It's not something I personally want to get into the habit of using often, for the lack of research on longterm delterious effects, but a little once in awhile to carve off those last hard-to-lose pounds is totally worth the yellow sweat and lethargy.

If you're planning on experimenting with DNP, do as much research as you possibly can before popping the first cap. The search function is amazingly helpful, and we've got great people on these boards who can answer pretty much any question you might have about it.

Not directed at you Stan, but to the poster beow you.

DNP CANNOT BURN-OUT YOUR THYROID!!!!!

This has been repeated a zillion times.

DNP reduces T4-T3 conversion. Thats it. It doesn't
cause Hyperthyroidism. The opposite actually,
which is why its ANTI-CATABOLIC.

Fat loss is 100% permanent + you get 1-2 weeks
after a cycle were you are MEGA STRONG.

The only way you can put on fat is if you go crazy
with junk food after your DNP cycle.

A normal maintenance diet is enough after a DNP cycle.

Fonz, I was referring to a post-DNP thyroid crash. Not a reduction in T3 or T4 while on. The A-man mentioned this in his old DNP manual, but maybe that's just what it was - an _old_ manual. No need to yell, sheesh.

Long-term? No.

But, there are a couple on people who inhaled
the fumes for 5-years straight b/c they
worked with DNP.

Main problem was weight-loss, Hyperthermia and in
some cases(mostly women) cataracts and yellowing of the
eyes.

Yes, they all go back to normal unless its permanent.
Only a person who got cataracts would be permanent.
Yellowing of the eyes goes away as the built-up DNP
is metabolized. Same as thermal temperature.
As far as getting cataracts, ALA will eliminate that
problem. Just wasn't available in the 1940's :)

Well of coarse you gain fat back when you bulk. Why do you think bb's don't walk around at contest weight. Bodybuilding is about going 2 steps forward (bulking) and one step back (cutting).

I don't know about anyone else but when I was on dnp @ 200mg for the first two weeks and then 400mg the third week, I actually gained 5lbs despite during the third week despite losing 10-11 the first two. A week has gone by since I stopped the dnp/yohimburn to see if I was just starting to retain water, I haven't lost any at all and I'm almost back to the weight I started at. I was/am eating really clean right at about 2100 calories a day. I'm gonna try a 2 week cycle at 600mg to see if I have better results.
