i assume since DNP causes water retention, it also significactly raises blood pressure. right?

I personally did not notice but of an increase of BP but the answer is yes, it can cause high BP in some people.

see my BP is already high as it is.
wouldnt want it higher.

but i was thinking of perhaps taking 50mg aldactone throughout dnp treatment. bad idea since its a diuretic.. right?

I doubt the BP would be an issue. You'll sweat so much you won't have a chance to retain water. I woke a few times with a mouth so dry I couldn't even swallow air.

Dirty-v - do a quick search and you'll find some answers...

Satchboogie - I wouldn't do the aldactone with the dnp. And in my opinion, as long as you are just doing a 7 day run of the dnp, unless your BP is off the charts high, you should be fine with just the standard cocktail of ancillaries.

satch.. better get opinions on this. You know the documents, they say to never even think about a diuretic during DNP usage.

wtf you doin up??

yeah man i hear that one.
a little confused here.
BP is on the high side and dont want it gettin higher.

will wait for more opinions.

You would have to be a moron of biblical proportions to use a prescription diuretic while on DNP.

The side effects outweight the benifits IMO, bud! There are much safer options to try before going the DNP route. If your BP is already on the higher side then I personally would not worry about how to control it while on DNP, I just would not use it at all. Just my 2 cents. Stay safe!

thats a bit tricky satch- it has teh potential to make you hold water vascularly (in blood) but it seems to mainly make you retain water in the skin (probably due to heat, and increased blood flow to skin). it may be that overall it even decreases your blood pressure because of decreasing blood volume due to dehydration.

id need some clinical studies to work it out though.

um, but about this diuretic....dont. (look at my avatar, but i wont voice what i think of your idea here :p )

cheers
