DNP availability?

I've have ordered DNP a couple times from my source which was a regular chemical company dealer. Today I tried to make another order and he said it will be 4-6 months till they will have 2,4 Dinitrophenol in stock. Anyone else have this problem too?
He made it sound like it was a availibility problem on a larger scale than his chemical company, like maybe it isn't being made that much anymore??? Any thoughts?

It is all an issue of liability.

If a company sells dnp to a supply house that they know has liberal sale policies- it opens them up to liability

Is there a way to get one of these companies to sell if they believe you are making pesticides or do they need liscense numbers and shit like that? Damn I don't know if I even know anymore companies anyways....
