Dizziness, lightheaded and a little pissed

First, sorry for not posting this on Life extension but the forum kept giving me an error. But I think it can also fit here.

For the last couple days I've been feeling light-headed, dizzy, with tingling sensation behind my neck (the neck tingling happens right before I go into my dizzy, light-headed state). Almost as if I was on a weed high but a bit weaker high. Then I'm hit by a spike of hyperness (if that's how you say it) which is because of all the immune boosters such as N-large and G-plenish. You can see on my signature everything I am taking right now, and for me it isn't a lot.

I spoke to my doctor today (spoke, no appointment which was weird. maybe because of the flu season?), and she said it might be the multi-vitamins. I think she does sound reasonable because ever-since I began taking multivitamins I feel like this off and on during the year. It might be months before I feel like this, but I wish I could get a real diagnosis.

My question is if anyone has felt like this before? I mean, I consider myself healthy as a horse. I am strong, I am gaining weight on my bulking diet, it can't be any sort of deficiency!? A lot of people tell me different things and everything freaks me out. Now, every time I start feeling like this I get anxious and feel like I'm going to hit a state of panic, but I always calm myself down. Honestly I don't understand what is going on, but I hope someone can give me some good advice on my situation.

Sure I enjoy feeling like this when I'm not doing nothing, it's like a free weed high, but I can't drive or function like this at my job or school. Thanks people.

Are you taking a lot of niacin? There is the "niacin flush" which can make one feel tingly. I think you're face will turn red if that is it. Are you drinking enough fluids and eating enough carbs? Too little of these can make you feel a little funny. Lots of things it could be.

I'm getting plenty of carbs and drink more than a gallon of water a day. My face doesn't turn red by the way. Today eversince I woke up I've been feeling lightheaded, and I never felt like this. I don't know if it's the climate that does this to me, beats the hell out of me. I'm a little pissed because my doctor said to stop taking the mult-vits and if I feel the same to call back in 2 weeks? what is up with that shit. I don't want it to be something serious.

I'm still thinking about this and really don't know what it could be. You might want to try stopping all supplements for a few days to see if it goes away. I don't think the flax or the protein would do it, or the n-large, but might want to lay off the others and see if it helps. bump for more ideas!

Faller I was reading about Niacin Flush. It's exactly how I'm feeling but without the redness on my cheeks. I noticed that my multi-vitamins contain 30g of niacin per pill. I'm gonna lay'em off for sure and at least niacin flush isn't bad. but for me it is cuz it makes me lazy. cuz i just fell asleep. crossing fingers it's that.

I had problems with certain multi-vitamins also. It took 3 different ones before I found one that would upset my stomache or make my head feel weird.

Yeah man, I hear yah. Well none have made my stomach hurt, but GNC did make me feel lightheaded before, Animal's didn't make me feel like this. After a week or so if this goes away i'm going to try other vitamins, but I am still concerned. Because Animal has more niacin than the ones I'm taking now, and it didn't give me this reaction. I've ruled out all other supplements because I've been taking them for a long time and never did I get this feeling. I am hoping it's the climate as well, because in San Diego we don't get cold days like the ones we have now.

I figured out what is making me feel like this. It's the NO2. Although I don't understand why because 3 days and before that I didn't feel like this with it. This morning I woke up just fine. Felt like normal, no dizziness or anything. 20 minutes after I took the NO2 I began to feel the same again. I don't understand why 12 days after starting NO2 I am getting these eerie sensastions. NO2 has ingredients V12 uses right? So why I didn't feel like this with V12? I don't know. Any thoughts?

Is the ringing or high pitched noise in just one ear ?
Describe the noise you are hearing ?
Also..... this dizziness...... does it feel like an unsteadiness and whooziness ?
Something along the lines of how one "would" feel (unsteady) when you have a flu with a fever ?

It's actually in one ear, my right one and it's high-pitch like what you hear from the tube being on with no channel, though it doesn't bother me much. The dizziness is whoozi. I can drive most of the time, but I just feel like detached from my body sometimes. Do you think it's the flu and when I take NO2 my body gets like a caffeine high and that makes me unstable? I remember caffeine doing this to me when I have a cold and I take something caffeinated. And NO2 has to be taken in the morning without any food, just water. So do you think my body takes it pretty rough when it's trying to get rid of this virus?

It could very well be an inner ear problem or it could be something as simple as one of your supps. Or even high blood poressure. It is the ringing and the whooziness that you mentioned that seems to direct the problem to the inner ear and the mechanisms of the inner ear that are associated with maintaining balance (aka dizziness).
It may also be the creatine and other water retaining supps causing excess fluid (water) retention in a part of your inner ear called the labyrinth which will cause both the vertigo (dizziness) and the ringing sound.

You can attempt to find out which supps by process of elimination or go see an ear/nose/throat doctor or simply do a wait and see approach. Or you can just go SEE A DOCTOR.

You can also do a web browser search for VERTIGO (dizziness) and search for TINNITUS (ear ringing) and match your symptons with the info the sites give you.

Don`t freak bro but don`t just blow it off either. It could be nothing OR it could be something. Try eliminating one supp at a time for a week to see which supp (may) be causing the problem. If you eliminate all the supps at the same time you won`t know which one (if any) are causing the problem.

I did eliminate NO2 and my dizziness went away. This started before I was consuming creatine. When I spoke to the gnc people about no2 they said it's a strong supplement and that I should eat something immediately after I take it. I told them, but it says on the label to not eat anything until 30 minutes later. They said to just go and return it, so I did. NO2 was working for me, but it did increase my blood pressure. I don't think I'll be using NO2 anymore, screw it. My health is more important than getting bigger muscles. Thanks by the way man for your advice and help.
