i've moved 5 times in the last 15 years.

here's what you do tonight...

find the highest class billiards/pool hall, pull your moderately dressed self up to the bar, order a (several) 20-30 year old scotch (neat of course) & chat things up for the next 4 hours.

step 2... wake up with a new friend.

I don't drink and my city doesn't have any billiards hall or even any place classy for that matter. I mean gee, we are talking about green bay. all they have here are hicks, beer, and cheese.
