dislocated shoulder yet again

for those who didn't hear about the last one in august, i dislocated my shoulder yet again tonight, so i'm typing shorthanded here all drugged up with pain killers... now my shoulder is really fucked... oh well.. this time i won't avoid surgery; time for the knife!

Not sure, i think i'll get the surgery towards the end of may.

I had a problem simular but not as severe...i had a subluxation in my left shoulder and worked through the pain instead of letting it heal, it eventually buildt up with some scar tissue and now i have trouble with certain movements. Once a luxation has occured it damages ligaments and tendons making it easier for a second luxation to occur until it his properly healed....i didnt know that back than

sounds like you have a rotator cuff injury. what did the MRI show? good luck with the healing process. how long will you be off when you have surgery?

join the club, my let has been cut open and ive dislocated my right shoulder 7 times, most recently 2 weeks ago when i feel down my stairs drunk

Dude, very sorry to hear about it. I'm struggling with an injury myself right now & the mental part is almost as tough as the physical... it's such a huge letdown. Godspeed

I don't know about waiting...I'd get it done as soon as possible, so your shoulder won't heal funny.
