Discussion: Bridging and How It Affects Your Next Cycle

Most know that when staying on steroids year 'round, the steroids use up the receptors and you start to lose the effects of steroids until you take a period of rest to let your body "recharge," if you will, and create new receptors.

The thought I have is that when bridging (with Anavar or Primobolan), this could only potentially make your next cycle less effective, especially since Anavar and Primobolan are potent stimulators of the AR. So you would have less receptors available for your next cycle.

Something else I had in mind is that if you bridge with a drug that does NOT have much of an affinity for the AR (ex: D-bol), this in theory should not have as much of an effect on your next cycle since it has anabolic activities away from the AR.

I would love to have some input here. Any thoughts? :)

receptors in our bodies are constantly being replaced. I believe there is about a 30 day life span for the typical receptor.

Well I can tell u from experience that when I bridge and when I don't bridge I see very little to no difference in my next cycle. And I am talking about a true bridge(20mg anav/day or 200mg prmo/wk).

When bridging or not taking enough time off in between cycles you can't expect to make the same gains without bumping the dosages way up from your previous cycle.

Well what I was getting at was bridging with a class II anabolic (one that has anabolic effects other than through the AR) so that when you do your next cycle, maybe, and I do mean MAYBE, your receptors will be fresh because of using a class II anabolic. Your receptors should not have been used (VERY little anyway). That's the point of this thread. Trying to find some answers. :)

I think receptor saturation is over exagerated. I bridge frequently and gain better with a bridge than without.
