YOU HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE WITH THE SOFTWARE TO PROGRAM THEM. IF I WERE TO GET A CARD PROGRAMMED, I WOULD GO TO A FRIEND OF MINE WHO USED TO WORK FOR THE SAT. COMPANY AND HAS ALL THE RECOURCES TO DO IT.

If he lives in a big city have him check around at small appliance stores that sell tv's. We used to have a guy that would sell you the whole system satelite and all at the local flea market. If someone is selling a system they would know who can program it.

I WOULDNT BUY ANY CARDS FROM THE NET OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT CUZ A MAJORITY OF THE OLD CARDS (AND SOME NEW) WERE FRIED ON BLACK SUNDAY!!! YOUD BE BETTER OFF FINDING SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMEONE SO THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY HAVE SOME IDEA OF WHO IS DOING WHAT.

yea..i second what Kayne said...you need to be able to be in contact w/the person b/c sometimes it needs re-programming after they ZAP it

from what ive heard, when you buy a new system from the stores, it does not come with a card anymore. you have to call DTV to get it and get a subscription. i dont know if this is true.
the HU cards do not have a reliable program that i would trust right now. if it works great but its shaky right now. everything is getting hit lately, emulators, h-cards, h-cards with bootloaders, and HU-cards. Dave is getting the best of us...uh...i mean them right now.

Even though you might find somone to hook you up with a card. It'll depend on where you are located at in the US. Becasue the prices diffrentiate all over. My friend and people all in Alabama pay $250-300 for a card. And my uncle up in Ohio always pays $75. Just remember when you get the card to ALWAYS unplug the phoneline. Thats the only way they can find out if you have a card and your not paying for it. Other than when sometimes they DO send out random signals to zap people even though they're not sure if you have an illegal card. but even though you get zapped atleast they never knew you had a card if you have the phoneline un plugged because if you have it plugged in then they could press charges.

Get an emulator card. Reprogramming it is horribly easy.
