Dips/Benches

Are (weighted) dips and bench press considered interchangeable? They both work basically the same thing (chest/tris/front delt), but dips would add in the upper back/lats a little. Thaks.

you could do that.......... but to me the dips are more interchangable with decline bench press......... they are pretty much the same move.
