When purchasing Dinitrophenol 2 4 in powdered form in contains 15% water. If you want to purchase it for future usage should you be worried that it could dry up even if you don't open the container? Can DNP go bad?

you should dry it before you use it anyways.

I also use the raw DNP. It lasts a long time in the refrigerator. That's where I keep mine. When it's time for a dose I just measue out the right number of miligrams, put it in a capsure and swallow it. Then I put the bottle back in the frige.

2,4-dinitrophenol is explosive. It's stored and shipped with water added to make it more stable. Keep it wet in the original container untill you put it in capsules. If you don't dry it before capping it, the water starts to break down the capsules.

Are there legal impediments to buying it as a raw bulk chemical, or is it legal like Fina as long as it's not converted for human use? I know several sites that sell it for good prices. Is it okay to just flat-out buy it? Or do you have to find another covert method?

It's legal to buy/sell/possess dnp as long as it's not for human consumption. I haven’t looked at the law itself, but if I remember correctly, the FDA only banned the sale of it for human use.
