i got a kodak dx4330 as a gift. is this camera any good?

-3.1 megapixels
-10x zoom

i also got a webcam. i don't need the webcam however. i might take both the digital camera and the webcam back to upgrade to a better model of dig cam.

i got a digicam too
nothing to impressive though, but i didnt want one that good

HP... dont know the code #, 2.1 mega pixels (so yours kills me there), but ive got 12x zoom
its pretty cool, ive been fiddling with it

btw does yours fucking drain batteries like they're going out of fashion? i literally get 25 or a few more pics for 4 AAs...
seems kinda crazy

mine has this video camera capability on it too, thats pretty nuts, bet it kills batteries even more though

mines really just an entry model, but ill take a pic of the snow or something with a lot in it so we can compare if you like.

2 mp is quite adaquate for most people. If you desire large sized prints a 3mp would look better. But in my eperience, not much better got the added $100-$200

A 2 mp is fine for 4x6 prints, but you will be able to tell a little difference if you go with a 5x7 or larger. If you are wanting to print 5x7s, you may want to go with at least a 3 mp. I have a 3.1 mp Sony, and it works great without draining my batteries. I would recommend getting at least a 128MB memory stick as well.
