I am honestly disgusted with the way EF is handling this situation. Up until this point I have had nothing but positive support from their customer service division.
 
Yeah whats up with that. 75th sigs was awesome. Who cares if he's bashing a Platinum member? Which he isn't. He's simply quoting him. If he don't wanna be quoted, he shouldn't put his foot in his mouth the way he does.

Actually, he said I was bashing him without gjohnson doing anything of the sort to me.

LOL I guess repeatedly calling me a Nazi every time I post is condoned somewhere in the TOS.

Not to mention, he specifically said it was because gj is a plat member. Im not sure if digger has noticed my glowing stars as of yet.

The funny thing is, like I PMed him, my sig was twice as long before AAP asked me to change it. If he wanted it shorter, all he had to do was ask.

that really sucks man.... seriously, don't let the recent stuff get to you.. admin come and go around here... every once in a while we get someone who just doesn't jive with the paying members of the board. Its what happens when tech people try to step into a customer service type of role.

I'm glad you are plat for life because that means you'll be around for a long time, the place is fun, you gotta admit that, you've met a true homie in swole you guys can talk about hair and all kinds of fun stuff like that.

The billing issues will get resolved, George is good about that.

When you post a thread about whatever the fuck it is matters to you, I do go in there and start insulting or berating you for the sake of it. I typically only ever address you when YOU have initiated conversation with me, if you could even call it conversation, you usually just throw out jabs here and there.

So fine, we can discuss the merits of bombs and post whoring and all that as much as you want, you know I am game, but you don't have to constantly spam every thread I post for the sake of it, your point has been made.

He did give me a good deal on the plat but the other is what is bothering me. It's not the money, it's the idea of using something for what it was intended for and then somehow the rules changed without notification.

You a good friend of mine and I don't care what gjohnson says about you.:D

Im sure of it as well but ignoring the masses until you get it sorted out is not the way to handle things.

Think about it. If a customer of mine sends in a complaint about an issue, and sends you 3 or 4 follow up emails asking if you even GOT the fucking thing or whats the status, you dont ignore him, and wait till you sort it out.

You say I understand there is a problem and we are working on it. And then deleting the threads asking about what the fucking status is is even worse.

Un-professional. After i just give the money for lifetime plat too. In my eyes right now the people that run this place are as cool as the sun.

If we do not get this problem resolved, I will be forced to assume George Spellwin and the rest of EF administration are content with tricking their members into paying for non-tangible items which were falsely advertised as being free. Anyone who watches this being done has absolutely no regard for the money in their checking account.

What is to stop EF from charging you $100.00 for your next plat purchase?

What are you going to do if they simply don't respond to your question once charged a larger amount? Will you simply let them take your money?

Make good George. You have lots of money coming from me in the future if I choose to renew my plat on a month-to-month basis. Don't let a quick $40 ruin many more months of potential plat status.
 
Thats one of the rasons why I refuse to go plat for life. This way if I become unhappy with EF (again) I'll just protest with my wallet. Seems to be the only thing they care about.

I'd say that by and large the mods here are good.. very cool actually.. and I've been at odds with many of them in the past over a variety of issues. Typically we can usually agree to disagree when appropriate... or actually reach an understanding of each other..

Because of the PM and gift cert I have peopel PM me with issues many times and really there is only one person on staff that people consistently take objection with... and even that is only recently, well, much MORE recently then before. I wouldn't be surprised that even me, a lifetime plat member, a constant contributor to the site, a supporter of the sponsors, gets band. I know, seems unfathonable.. but apparently disagreeing with admin over how the site is run is TOS violation? Strange times.

I understand the restriction of material especially if you are active in other forums. What may be offensive to you may be highly offensive to others. I'm heading back to the training forums very soon, and will likely alter mine. I don't think offensive material is the case here.

W/ regard to quotes, its a Catch-22 situation. If the member is highly respected (I don't know if that is the case here) and very helpful in the training forums (after all this is a training site), I can see where a bunch of quotes making him/her look like an ass (even if they came from that person's mouth) may be troubling to the higher powers and the person.

I just want HumorMe to change his 2nd quote because my username is in that silly remark. :)

I agree 100%, but Im a lame fucker, so I only post on C/C. All the members (save gjohnson) apparently liked the sig and found it humerous, so I dont see what the problem is.
