Difference

good pain is when you poke your muscle or flex it and it's sore...

any kind of shooting pain would not be good... pain from your joints is another one that would not be good...

whats the difference between good and bad pain after working out?? thanks
thanx guys
Maybe your definition differs from mine but pain in general is bad. If you are a bit tired from the exertion and get a bit sore (i.e. DOMS) that's fine. Maybe you should describe your pain and we can tell you if it's bad.

That's DOMS (if we are talking about your muscles and not joints or connective tissue). Common stuff. Nothing to worry about and is not correlated with a good or stimulative workout (meaning it doesn't matter if you are sore or not).

awesome thanks. but im kind of dumb lol. how can i tell whether its in my joint or muscle?? it just sort of hurts/feels stiff when i stretch my arm 2 much or lift it 2 high. and sometimes after waking up i'll get randomly stiff, and i havn't even been working out the previous day, is this normal??.
