Right now my planned diet is about 400 grams of protein a day, about 100 carbs and about 30 grams of fat. I have a pretty good idea of basic dieting ect...but just thaught people would have any little tips and also any ideas of what to eat post workout as far as carbs go.

Add in R-ALA post workout (alot more fat seems to be burned for me anyway).

Drink all the water you can get your hands on.

I would say avoid carbs except post workout.

and finally, the most important tip (Thanks to Fukkenshredded): WINDSPRINTS :D

yep, and with that amount of protein to carbs, youre going to need to up your fat, you should be getting double that amount easily - just take in good fats, like flax oil, fish oils, natural peanut butter, almonds, and dont worry about getting too much unless youre at like 40%, but you should be around 25-30% IMO. Your post workout: get a good 40-70 grams of carbs - this is the best time to take in your carbs because your body will utilize them right away without any consequences on your diet

I've got to agree with tbone here, even though you aren't doing a keto diet, you need to up the clean fats. Keep your fat intake at 25%+ of your total calories. Since you aren't in ketosis I would limit my saturated fat intake, and try to stick with monounsaturate and omega 3 fats. I tbsp of extra virgin olive oil contains 14 grams of fat, and over 90% of it is monounsaturated. 5 or 6 fish oil tabs a day will give you the essenatial fatty acids you need, and will definately aid in your fat burning efforts.

I think the easiest diet is the Isocaloric:
40%protein/30%carbs/30% fat

Fats: Flaxseed, Fish, Olive, Sesamese seed, Udos Oils
Carbs: Oatmeal, Beans, Green veggies, wheat pasta
Proteins: Tuna, chicken, turkey, lean beef

Post workout I would go for about: 30g Dextrose w/ 40g whey protein ... www.allthewhey.com - they have GREAT flavorless proteins.

Calories:
Alternate as to not slow the metabolic rate ----
Example:
Day 1: weight x 12
Day 2: weight x 13
Day 3: weight x 14
Day 4: weight x 12
Day 5: weight x 10
Day 6: weight x 10
Day 7: weight x 18

Start over....

mustang i would go with whatever Mr. X says...also i would think with 100g Carbs and only 30gs of fat you would be very fatigued

Nice.. Very nice Mr. X I thought about something like that:
WK1-2 bodyweight x 14
WK3-4 bodyweight x 13
WK5-6 bodyweight x 12
WK7-8 bodyweight x 11

Do you think your plan will get me better results (in terms of fat burning) within 8 weeks period as opposed to mine ?

Also, I used to get GREAT results from sticking to a Low Carbs diet, something like: 50pro/20carbs/30fats

I will be using Anavar along with Dostinex alternating Clen/ECA. My main concern is Leptin levels going way to low with my diet plan. Fonz suggested Dostinex in order to 'trick' body as to keep leptin levels high

as long as you have a refeed once a week, I assume it should work...oh yes, week 1-2, drop the cal to weight x 10...

I do recommend daily shifts instead of weekly b/c the body adapts in a week, but not in a day

I've used Dost. but it made me sick for days, I might be allergic to it, so if I were you I'd experiment before I would fully use it

Thanks Mr. X Your daily plan:

Day 1: weight x 12
Day 2: weight x 13
Day 3: weight x 14
Day 4: weight x 12
Day 5: weight x 10
Day 6: weight x 10
Day 7: weight x 18

Does look better. I think you're right. Mentally it may also be easier to shift the calories on a daily basis rather than have complete weeks of very low cals. I like your idea.

Oh.. Just one thing: How does it go hand in hand with working out ? Usually even upon dieting, on days when I'm doing both my morning cardio AND weightraining at evening, I would eat an extra 400 cals that that or else I would go waayyy below maintance, something like 2000 cals less which is just too much. Do you think I can add extra 350-400 cals on day I am doing both cardio and weightraining ?

My plan is:
-- 5 x times a week AM CARDIO 60 min @ 160(I'm 28) Waiting 45min afterwards b4 eating.
-- Anavar 40mg ED
-- ECA/Clen 2wk/2wk

Also can loosing 15 pounds of fat achievable within 8 weeks?

thanks a lot.. Ur the king

I agree with everyone else on upping the good fats. I think you should also do some form of carb cycling. If you go to 100 g's for 3 days go up to 400 on the 4 th day. That will refill your glycogen levels and keep your metabolism humming along. You won't run into the metabolic lag and leptin drop if you keep your body off balance. What I outlined has worked great for me in the past. It will also keep you sane, keeping carbs that low for every long is very draining mentally and physically. A diet doesn't need to be agony. I would keep the protein around 1.5 g's per pound of bodyweight and add in some fats. Good luck bro!

I would do my training just like BodyOpus (CKD style)...
after the Sunday carb-up...Monday Morning I would do ALL upper body - heavy olypmic lifts and Tuesday morning I would do ALL lower body heavy olypmic lifts.
Wed/Thur/Fri - Cardio low-int AM 45-60min
Sat Cardio 30 high-intensity Sprints AM
Sun before starting the carb-up - FULL BODY circuit workout w/ light-weights and 5min of sprints

My plan is:

look at it this way...
15lbs. of fat is 15x4000cal/lb = 60000 cal
60000cal/56days (8wks) = 1070cal deficit a day
so if you're at a 1000cal deficit, then maybe, but not likely

400 grams of protein sounds like a lot. I'm only taking in 200 grams a day, getting ready for a show. I'm still thick and hard. Doing high and low carb days has helped me a lot. I started out with 3 low carb days (broccoli only), 1 high carb day (about 100 grams). Then I went to 5 low carb days and high carb day and cut out all fats, so no oils at all. Now I'm on no carbs until the carb loading phase next week. My bodyfat is dropping tremendously.
