Well I'm dieting, cardio 5 to 6 days a week AM 30-45 mins.
Diet = bodyweight x 10 = total calories 60percent prot
30 percent carb
10 percent fat.

Can anyone help me out w/ cardio/diet suggestions....
Thinking of X's peanut butter diet.
Is there a short cut to get me into ketosis, and drop water weight?

Thanks peeps!

I would increase fat and decrease protien and carbs. I would go no more than 20% carbs, and have the rest from protien and fat.

it sounds like you'll be getting waaaay too few calories.

most people believe that they have to significantly cut back on their calories to lose any appreciable weight. however, it's best to take it slow, thus preserving as much of your muscle mass as possible. people yo-yo with their weight because they diet with too few calories, lose muscle (and its ability to burn fat), and gain all the fat back that they lost soon after they drop the diet.

most diets are going to recommend an intake of weight x 12 calories and no more than 30 minutes of cardio. if you do more than this, it will most likely do more harm than good.

he wants to let the yo yo just drop and hit the floor for now, coming back up isn't a concern ;P he has a photoshoot soon and needs to loose as much fat as possible for it.

kicklikebrucelee: not sure what you want to know about the thyroid... but you can get into ketosis faster by doing some cardio and taking some r-ala if you have it... your nutrient ratios don't look favourable for getting into or even maintaining a ketonic state :p

read mr.X's manuals over at www.massmonsters.net
you need to get your butt in gear, no more messin around...

a bit too much cardio, you can cut down to 4-5x a week w/o a problem

too low calories, too high protein and low fat. Change ratios to 50%protein/30%fat/20%carabs
weight x 12 and add 1 refeed 1 day a week: 60%carbs/30%protein/10%fat weight x 15

Thinking of X's peanut butter diet.
that would probably be a good diet for you

Is there a short cut to get me into ketosis, and drop water weight?short cut would be glucose disposal agents like ALA; when you get into ketosis - first week you'll drop up to 10lbs. of water if done right

OK

Got the ALA, I'm adjusting to 20% carbs...on the protien fat issue...How should the ala be used?

How much solid food/liquid. I was considering 6 meals, one solid.
Fat sources? I've got olive what else should I use if i'm going protein shake w/ fat.

would 5 meals be better?

10lbs of water in a week, would be a beautiful thing...!

Cardio is HIIT mostly, any ideas on change-ups to maximize effectiveness?

any other reccommended supplements?

if you're not already in ketosis, you can just take a bunch of ala before bed and maybe even some more in the morning before HIIT session, you're blood sugar should be very low...

as far as legal supps that can help you, multivitamin/mineral and you could try a ECA stack, and green tea extract, eca will also help keep your appetite down. plenty of water, you could look into some water depletion/carb load techniques for near the end...

if you have regular ala, you can use 200-300mgs per 50-75g carbs; use w/ high-gi meals like post workout

Fat sources? I've got olive what else should I use if i'm going protein shake w/ fat.you need flaxseed oil and ANPB; you can go 4 solid meals and 2 liquid (pre and post workout)

would 5 meals be better?6 is not a magic #, but it's a good start

Cardio is HIIT mostly, any ideas on change-ups to maximize effectiveness?HIIT is fine, but I am more of a believer in low-instensity; if HIIT is working for you stick to it

any other reccommended supplements? some MCT oil maybe once a day to start you off would be a good point to get your diet closer to burning ketones for fuel
