What is more productive in losing fat while keeping muscle? Is following a diet better or worse than upping your cardio work? Because, I want to lose some fat and I would prefer to do more cardio a week, which I enjoy, than eating less.

I never think you should eat less, just eat clean to shed the bodyfat.
You should do cardio to shed fat but you should also lift weights to build lean muscle. I believe that when people only do cardio, as opposed to weights also (like me along time ago), you can only be "skinny" fat at best.
I am weight training(that's what I basically do) as I'm male(I just thought I'd ask you ladies that question since you're probably EXPERTS at fat loss/cardio).
I am eating clean and I have just gained lots of muscle mass, but some fat as well. I want to cut a bit to have some definition and was just wondering what would be best, cutting on my daily cal intake or maintain it and do some more cardio, in order to lose maybe 4-5 pounds while retaining most of muscle gains.
then i would recommend doing the cardio to shed the bf, and keeping your caloric intake at what is optimal for you now and not risking losing the precious lean muscle mass....
great
you can meet me and other fellow cardioers in the post in the training discussion board
"who got their ass out of bed to do cardio this morning".
I seem to remember reading an article a while back (I think it was on Mesomorphosis - not positive) that stated that it was always better to tweak your diet first, and not to up your cardio until you absolutely have to.
