Diet Question

Would it be ok for me to eat the same thing 5 times a day for every meal.... i am a college student and have a really hard schedule this summer. I was thinking about eating the same thing for every meal....

one can of tuna
4 slices of wheat bread
3 small bagels
= close to 1000 cals 50g of protein, 170g of carbs and 8g of fat per meal.... this is for bulking, I would throw in some fruits and veggies every other meal too.

Will my body respond the same to this as eating diff foods every meal or does it need a variety?
 
i dont think it really matters as long as you have a good postworkout shake as well, and 180 carbs right before bed might be pushing it. though if you follow that meal you are lacking in good fats, and bagels are the best source of carbs, lack of fiber, even in college u could still be able to follow a diet with variety which im sure you would like a lot more than eating the same meal every 3 days.
 
Wheat bread and bagels don't have fiber? I could change it up some but this would be a very cheap and economical, no brainer diet for me......I take flax seed oil which is good fats right?
 
whole wheat bread is a good source of fiber and flax seed oil is a good oil (EFAs)

but I don't think eating thre samz thing at each meal is the best choice: variety and moderation is the key
