Diet changes and habits when "on".

Hey all, just wanted to see some of your personal dieting opinions and dieting methods when running a cycle. Things like how much you up your protein/calories/carbs and etc? Also as in how often you eat and even more so, what you eat. Try and note if you make absolutely no changes at all and how much you gain as a result. I would really appreciate if you guys can post some stats like age, bf, weight, and bodytype (meso, endo, ecto) along with your posts. Im trying to get the general gist of what and how I should change my diet around for when I run my cycle. Later bros.

Off cycle tend to eat about 14-15cal per pound of body weight and i'd say about 60% is protein, 30-35% fat and 5-10% carbs. On cycle I eat more like 18cal/lb and I average more like 50% protein, 35% carbs and 15% fats.

I don't think this is an idea diet as the on-cycle fat is probably too high, protein too low and the off-cycle diet might have just a bit too much carbs. Really the whole thing is structured around a min of 400g of protein and I don't really thing of it in terms of percentages either, rather I had to just think about my meals and convert them to ratios.

My body type likes to gain weight. Any kind, but fat is rapidly gained on carb diets.

Yeah, this is what Im gonna have to start watching out for from now on, too many carbs. I aso tend to gain fat easily on high carb diets. Maybe Ill just up the protein considerably. Anyhow, what do you guys consider "high-carb"? 200g? 300g? 400g? Thanks THX900, bump, anyone else?

Is it possible to add lbm on a low carb diet while upping the protein and fat in terms of bulking/maintenance? I know this is normaly done for CKD, but is it useful for gaining mass albeit less fat?

No. Or at least it’s extremely inefficient. Save cutting for the cutting cycles and bulking for bulking cycles. Much easier that way. Honestly, I am not sure whether ANY growth will take place from a carb depleted diet. No carbs=low insulin levels.

Learn more about your diet, how you respond to different ratios of protein/fat/carbs and specifically which TYPES of carbs or fats are more beneficial/productive for you body type. The information is out there.
