im using HST while cutting, so i do protien/fat -no carbs
i think it works well, but have too much of a tendancy to overdo the weight and go to failure. But if you judge your strength on it right, i think it can wrap to any diet imo.
I've gotten good results using Mr X's CKD worksheet in addition to HST. I followed the diet strict for about a month and in that time, added 5 lbs of muscle and dropped 6 lbs of fat. Good enough for me... since then I've slacked on the diet (quit counting cals) and even dropped it for the long weekend. But, I'm still maintaining around the same weight. I need to get back on track though.
