On Sunday, here in Oceanside at the pier, the surfers will be doing the traditional Polynesian styled paddle out for Junior. I'll be there. I'll post up some pics if anybody is interested.
Yeah, I went. It was a total mess. The cops didn't close the strand, so assholes were trying to drive on it while thousands of people were blocking the road.
A woman drowned, and the paramedics couldn't get to her quickly because of the traffic on the strand.
