did magic johnson beat HIV ?

Beat as in cured, no. Beat as in not dead from AIDS yes.

He was diagnosed in 1991. I know this because I was in Marine Corps boot camp at the time. They interrupted training to tell us about Magic Johnson.
 
Yeah I was at football practice my freshman year in college when I got the word. The weirdest thing is, you see him so much on TV and almost forget he has it.

Yeah I think that sums it up. Apparently he doesnt have HIV anymore. I'll never forget the time Karl Malone's bitch ass complained about him playing with HIV.
 
I don't know the exact terminology... but... he is now in the normal level. Meaning he is not considered HIV positive... i heard that a year ago.
 
i heard he gets fresh transfusions from the blood of the homeless every day...........
 
If you have enough money in the U.S. you can cure "uncureable" diseases ... hell, you can even get away with murder.

Haha I will never forget two things from that trial.

1. Him putting on the glove saying it doesnt fit when it clearly does.
2. A room of people during the announcement of the verdict. The white people were angry and pissed the black people were jumping up and down in joy. Still shows division in America.

I hope so. It's really bad in Africa. A reporter was interviewing a crowd of like 10 men in Africa. She asked them how many of them had AIDS and 8 of them did. Thats sad.
 
he is not cured, he has been able to lower the amount of HIV in his body to undetectable levels. He will likely never develop AIDS.
 
NO ONE has ever died of hiv or aids.. u die from another disease DUE to hiv or aids but u never die OF aids

My brother has been HIV positive since 1989. He is living with HIV...not dying.
