Did i overtrain my arms??

Hey guys, i think i might have, but do u think i overtrained my arms... i put in like 2 exercises combining my back routine on tuesday... then i did full arm routine on wednesday(this one i dont know why we did) and today Saturday.. i did full arm routine, but i tried something new, i super setted between biceps and triceps.. it felt good and was very intense.. i probbly won't ever do this again.. but just let me know if i did overtrain these bad boys.

it takes a lot longer then you think to overtrain your body. i have seen some post (i believe by madcow2) that it can take a month or so of working your ass off to really 'overtrain' yourself. it has to do with your total cns system, not just your arms. find his website, there should be a link to it on there.

and for fuck sakes, if your arms hurt take some time off, do not over think it. hitting them 2 times in one week does not mean you overtrained them. hell, i could curl 5lbs 10 sets of 20 reps 10 times in one week and not have to worry about anything (i think, never really tried but i have seen girls do it). but then if i hit them 2 times a week, with 15 sets all to failure, yes i would stress them.

just dont train then for 2 weeks, but still press and row hard, then ease back into the curling starting and extensions with 1-2 sets of 8, add more sets per week, and or reps, or decrease the reps for go for 3x5.
 
Not really following the workout bro, but I wouldn't worry too much about "overtraining". Just allow them time to recover. Learn to listen to your body, put the proper fuel in it for it to use and you will be good in no time.

When I was training more along the lines of an Olympic lifter, I actually didn't train arms directly at all. However, now that I am more into bodybuilding and training for show I hit them with about 8-12 sets per week.
