I've done wat crums diet said for 1 week. I still have the same 21 bf % at 163lbs. I just did 3 days of cardio instead of 4 thats the only thing different I can think of. I'll increase it up to 5 this week but still, with the no carbs howcome i'm still the same? I take muscle milk before I go to bed is that bad(18g of fat and 12g carbs, and 1tablespoon of flax, wow whats 32g of fat b4 bed is that bad?)? I can't stand looking at my flabby stomach. Also should I reduce the amount of food i'm eating? I constantly feel like my stomach is bulging.

Drop the muscle milk, mixing carbs and fat especially at night when insulin sensitivity is low is a horrible idea

Are you keeping a diet log? Logging ALL the food and calories you eat tends to be an eye-opener and pinpoints where your diet may be going wrong. Remember, it doesn't matter if you're not eating carbs if you are still eating too many calories.

hmmm,

I wounder why? That's because it's not really a scientific diet. Look, I would recommend you stop that diet and jump on a CKD. I can help you set up your routine so you can start losing bf% in weeks. If done right, you'll be happy w/ the results. (and it's cheaper too)

Mr X. I was looking over at your diet and the things I dont' like about it is that things go by percentages so I would have to count everything I eat and keep track constantly.

You definitely have to keep a journal until you get into a routine... I eat basically the same thing every day... It is boring but it works..

if your at 21% bf you probably would get great results with a CKD or a TKD...

Krums diet has worked for me and it is a nice change... I have been following it for 2 weeks and I have dropped 10 lbs and look leaner while not losing any strength... I definitely want to try the carb cycling after I get tired of krum...

You might want to search the board for:
Swolecat. He is a nutritionist who will put a program together for you... his diets get results!!!

The bottom line is no matter what diet you choose, stick to it. Also take extra vitamins (with food). Drink tons of water and do your cardio... If you cannot find 45 minutes for yourself 4 days a week, you need to reprioritize your life...

BEST OF LUCK!!!

The % are a little scientific, but you can set up ONE meal plan and follow it w/ little or no problems in alteration.

I would say stick to this. 80% fat 20% protien for a few weeks and once your body is ketosis adapted, then you can start recarbing and cycling your carbs. It's that simple.

THATS HOW IT'S DONE BROTHER MAN!!!!!!!!

get used to it !

Understand 1st that even w/ no carbs, calories still must be less than you burn to lose fat. Ketosis or low carb diets don't magically cause fat loss as many people would like to believe. Get sufficient protein, sufficient EFA's, set up a calorie defecit and the rest is pretty much details. It turns out that ketogenic diets are more protein sparing on within certain bodyfat% ranges, and this even varies between studies and individual testimony. Once one gets fairly lean there isn't any advantage to being in ketosis. On top of that, it isn't the %'s that allow ketosis to develop, its the absence of carbs and moderate protein (not too high to cause much gluconeogenesis, making glucose from protein), that causes ketosis, a high fat intake isn't necessary nor do the ratios matter. BTW i've talked extensively about all this with THE man who wrote the Ketogenic Diet book, Lyle McDonald and he agrees with all of this. Mr. X's CKD diet is set up well, but isn't neccessary although it might work nicely for you. Decide what you're willing to follow then go from there. Some options are a CKD, TKD, Isocaloric, High Protein/Mod Carbs/Low Fat, etc.

Personally Keto diets never worked for me as eating fattier foods always caused my stomach to be bloated. When I started a lower fat variation w/ more frequent refeeds, fat really started to come off w/ no cardio whatsoever.

I've actually been down to 12% bf this year when I was wrestling. I know what it takes to get down there except the way the wrestlers did it was by not eating so I lost a lot of muscle too. Then I had a desire to get bigger, so I did. However with that I gained 9%body fat. I went from 140-163. Doesn't sound realistic but I havea spongy layer of fat covering my abs that I can pull like 3 inches off my body. Anyway I'm just looking for someone to put together something for me cuz wat i've been doing ain't working. And I don't plan to do any wrestling diets anymore. I'm gonna look for that swolecat guy.Maybe he'll help. thanx

well.......

Mr. X pleaded the 5th, and that is because he does not know what my diet entails, or how I help people. He was, I hope, not being sarcastic implying my diets don't work.

I have well over 100 references, and 6 message boards full of testimonials if you are unsure. If you have an inquiry about someone, go to the source. I am a stand up bro, and my diets straight up work!

Had to have my own back, as it looked like someone was implying my diets don't work! They were quite popular here on Elite before the jealous haters came out of the woodworks!

~SC~,

If you read my post again:
*********
SC's diet plans. Well, I plead the 5th.

I'm not too familiar so I don't want to give my 2 cents.

No one was being sacrastic, read the post.

BTW...I have seen a lot of your diets, so I am more verse on the subject

Mr.X

no.......

while I don't believe u have seen my diets, if u have u have only viewed a couple out of hundreds of different scenarios. As well, it doesn't matter that you saw anything because it's not like it has to be secretive like it's a NASA experiment. It's just a case specific diet that works. It's no biggie whatsoever.........but, whatever diet u saw worked for the person it was created for, that is the only thing that ultimately matters.

Therefore, without starting an argument as you would like to do by your last statement, u are not more "VERSED", (not verse), on the subject. You cannot draw such a conclusion from claiming to view a few diets I have created. Hell, we all have many of the same concepts regarding dieting of any means, however the way those ideas are shown to those interested, packaged, presented, and worked through until success, takes a different kind of skill and game. So, therefore, I am more versed on that aspect of it, thanks.

I know, I know, this is "your" diet board, and you don't want me on your stomping grounds. Well, I'm not going to banter back and forth like a kid as this is only one of a plethora of boards I visit, but I'm also not going anywhere. The reason I questioned why you "pleaded the 5th" is because when people say that, it conveys the meaning that they don't want to say what they think. If you have viewed some of my diets as you say, then how does the 5th apply? You would have seen them right?

U don't have to answer cuz all this crap ain't worth it. I was just interjecting my comments as someone had brought up my diets as a topic in this thread. I don't plan on starting shit here, as it seems I'm not welcomed here. Funny though because I have quite the large following of successful clients, here of all places, who love what they are seeing in themselves, and I don't see similar threads about other diets. Doesn't mean there aren't any of course, but no one seems to write about them. Like I said, I guess it's a different skill, interest, and game.

Let's just all move forward to helpin' these bros as there are tons out there in need of help!

Regards,
~SC~XXL~2K2~

Of course, I'm willing to drop it, w/o any problem. But, ~SC~ when you ask someone to drop a subject and bring up (verse) a spelling error, which is trying to say I'm not as intelligent, it is NOT a good way to get on good ground w/ me.

Yes, we can all live happy, I don't mind you being here, and BY ALL MEANS you (NOT "U") have all the right to do so. Again, I'll be honest w/ you, I have built up some conflicting interests towards the way you addressed certain matter, but I'm willing to drop them and start over. Clean slate, and we'll roll. In my book, anyone that helps people, I don't care how you do it, is as honorable as anyone. Moreover, on a side note, pleading the 5th was due to my lack of full knowledge about you practice; while, after further research I know how it works and the very basic concept behind it. I always plead the 5th, if I do not know the facts.

Mr.X

K.......

then we can start all over again I guess. I don't know what u mean by conflicting interests, but if we are starting over, I guess that does not matter. Yes, I help people in my own fashion, and there is a reason behind that fashion. As well, I am a bodybuilder, a fan, a fitness lover, and I live and breathe the lifestyle everyday. There are always basic concepts to any methodical happening, however that is why there are words such as "complex". Inputing the correct case specific information into a basic theory = complex........but it also equals success. I have always been a people person, and have loved to feel a part of a person's success. Perhaps that is why I like having the consultation with my programs as I really get to live their experience with them. Call me crazy, but I like that feeling. I can see that you like that as well, so as u said, we share that as a commonality.

Later homeboy, excuse my slang.........I'm a "baldheaded gangster" per your fellow mod NJStacked.
