maybe like in the finale? i never got a chance to watch the last season. what about tom and jerry? did any of these cocky shitbag cartoon characters like bugs bunny or tweety bird end up getting murked by their hunter?

Yes. Tom ate Jerry, Sylvester ate Tweety, and Elmer Fudd shot both Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
 
I think there was one episode where Tom beat jerry.

fuck tom & jerry. teaching kids you can go into other people's house and steal their cheese, their food, and light their cat on fire without suffering repercussions.
