i just read pg 10 and i don't really understand. just when you think the sport is moving in the right direction, you see this shit comin out of no where. mukite talks about how using bench shirts is "cheating"(not in so many words but if u read it you get the idea!!). some people are in denial on this issue and won't accept the fact the bench shirt won't go away. but from what i heard, it was all for the sponsors.....which sucks!! tb

oh they mention the canvas suits plenty. but the bench shirt is scrutinized becuse the bench press is historically the SHOW TIME lift. when people get passed up they look for little things as to why they dont bench that much.

Mukite was wearing a fucking denim too. He didnt lose because he didnt wera one he lost because he tried to lift in a meet he had to run. I think he was just trying to kiss ass to some sponsors that may have been reading (at least thats what I'd like to think)

I just read that article and it is a total slam. To me it says "I'm pissed off because some people know how to "work" their shirt and some don't." I found it funny that he didn't really advocate raw benching but only use of a single poly. Bitter dude, seems like his intentions are only for $$$ not really for the sport.

I never used a shirt and I know I will use a shirt when I break my competitive virginity. I have to, to be competitive.
