Did a glute shot tonite and had some problems

I did my left glute shot tonite, nothing new. It was just a pain in the ass literally from the start. I always use a fresh needle, and the needle i used seemed not to be very sharp, wouldnt not break the skin very easily, tried a few times and said fuck it, used a new one and went right in. At this point im already irritated cuz i had to waste a needle and i was kinda rushing now, and didnt aspirate (i know i know im dumb) and gave myself the shot, when I was done, there was about 6 good size drop of blood on the floor. did i just pass through a vessel? I used 1.5 inch needles and went all the way in. i usually never bleed except for a little drop when i pull the needle out. and there was no blood on the needle when i looked at it when I pulled it out...

My girl does my glute shots. Occasionally the needle will pass through a vein, aspiration is fun but when you pull it out I get some blood. You sure your in the right area where to inject? I never had any issues with pins not being sharp that is very weird. What brand?

Yeah I checked out spotinjection.com (i think thats the addy) basically upper left quarter if you divide the glute into 4. I'm using Terumo, I'd say where I got them from, but I dont wanna break any rules, so we'll just leave it at that lol. But yea, the other one seems dull, maybe i nicked it on the cap after I loaded it and recapped it? I dunno, it was just really fustrating and the blood kinda made me nervous (im always checkin out the "steroids 101" thread and some of the stuff mentions from not aspirating freaked me out tonite)

Naaahh if you would had shot into a vein you would know it by know and as for the blood it happens i've had it squirt and hit the wall but it's not big deal just take a second to aspirate and get the worries out of the way and just relax. Good shooting!!

I've had problems with BD pins being sharp actually. I've had to give it a good jab to get through the first layer then when it came to the muscle the same thing happened.

Yeah some times they just are not as sharp as they should be!

You are good to go bro. If it was a vain it would have shot lol. Well most of the time it will. Few drops of blood is no big deal.

yeah i def read that a few times. i was just really nervous cuz i never blead that much before, especially from a glute shot, but guess shit happens. thats for all the advice and help guys!
