diarrhea question... need some input

I have like one episode of diarrhea every month or every few weeks, by one episode I mean like one bowel movement of diarrhea then the next day I am fine.

how often do you guys have diarrhea ? serious question so I need serious answers.

It all depends on what I eat. I eat the same types of foods all the time so if I deviate at all, I get hit with the runny ass. Pop an immodium and be on your way. It works for me. There is nothing worse than having the runs and having to go to work.

I would put my money on some variation of IBS, but you gotta tell us more info.

IBS has so many variable forms and manifestations but really it can only be diagnosed after the exclusion of every other differential out there. Colitis has a mucioid bloody diarrhea and he would be feeling a hell of a lot worse.

When does the diarrhea occur? After eating, with fatty meals, etc.? Do you have any fevers? Do you ever awaken at night with diarrhea or have it without eating anything? Are you under stress when you have diarrhea? Any blood or mucus?
