Thanks for teh replies. I read up on it last night & agree with Bulk King, so therefore I retract my statment of the Finasteride being a DHT blocker.

However, I still don't understand how the DHT derivatives (Proviron, Masteron) contribute to hair loss. Is it cause they are still a strong adrogen with hair loss tendencies?

Just because something is, or, for that matter, is not a DHT derivative does not mandate that it will or will not be hard on the hairline.

Molecules that do hit the hair do so because the bind to receptors in the scalp. Some topical medications inhibit this binding.
