Dhea?

A BB trainer told me that I would benefit from taking DHEA.
Good for muscle mass and fat loss, he says.....
He takes that too and likes it a lot.
I'm 28 (in a few days) so am I not too young?
 
I am your age and I know it is safe to take dhea-first, go for a blood test to see if your dhea level is high or low-if it is normal, don't bother taking the supp.
 
Doesn't do shit for muscle mass or fat loss......

Have your DHEA sulfate levels checked. Not DHEA. DHEA has a short half-life in circulation, DHEA-S gives a better picture of DHEA status. If it's normal, don't waste your money. If it's low, then 25 - 50 mg/d should be plenty, but don't expect changes in body composition.
