i'M ASSUMING YOU mean a TB..........I want to convert it to a normal protein scoop.........mine reads 1.25tbs = 4g of carbs...........so I'm guess a half scoop is approx. 20-25g of carbs...........pintoca said:I bought a digital scale (0,1 gr accuracy) and then measure how many grams I need. I then transfer the quantity to a spoon and see how much it is...
meaning, I measure all my food once (the first time only) and then write down how does that translates to spoons or cups...
to answer your question: Spoons... 1 spoon is about 11 grs.
BY the way, Dextrose is much heavier than maltodextrine... I would recommend everybody to buy a cheap digital scale so you can remove the guessing. Makes life much easier (mine was like 20 bucks)
peace
lol.............ummm.....dextrose??????AClarke said:Whats a good source for dextrose???

pintoca said:You should be able to get it pure. Don't make the mistake some people do when for example they swap Maltodextrine for Splenda... (because splenda is 98% maltodextrine)
Dextrose is dextrose, you can only get it pure

Anyway... back to the topic... I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I keep some kitchen scales on the kitchen table and measure the exact amount I need each time.![]()
ok..getting back to tablespoons and teaspoons.........yesterday I used 4 tablespoons..........that pretty close?Makavelli said:3 regular (20 CC) scoops of dextrose equal 1 C, which is 100 g of dextrose. Approximately 33 g per scoop.

Havent needed one until now.....will get one this week.......for now, I'm just going to use 1/2 of a protein scoop......(the larger 70cc size)BIGDHO said:Dude just get a scale and measure it in grams, you should have a scale anyway, you being a diet guru and all![]()
Makavelli said:I don't use tablespoons. It's easier to just use a protein scoop.
