dextrose: how important is it

bros how many of you guys use dextrose and where do you get it. how important do you think it is. thank you.
 
I take 40 grams within 15 minutes of my work out and it seems to work better for me than a straight recovery drink. I use AST Sports Science "DGC" (Dextrorotory Glucose Crystals) I just toss it in with straight protien right after I leave the gym and down it in the parking lot.
 
You need it after a workout and you can get it at www.dpsnutrition.com. It is important after a workout b/c it obviously increases insulin levels very quickly. This is good after a work b/c after a hard work when your body is trying to recover it produces coristiol and this is bad for muscle. With the insulin in your system it keeps cristol level low and keeps your bosy anabolic, where you want it to be. I use 50 grams in my post work out shake.
 
I use it after every workout. It's benefits are fuggin' awesome. :Chef:
 
you guys are all a bunch of ectos! fuck, i stay away from sugar of all kinds like it was poison. which, in large amounts, it is btw--our bodies evolved to consume meat, fibrous vegetables, and a bit of fruit seasonally--though that fruit was very fibrous and not bred to be so sugar-rich as current fruit is. Candy bars, skittles, and certainly things like straight dextrose are not good for you in the long term. (especially if u are genetically prone to metabolic disorder, insulin resistance, etc.) and in the short term, it makes us endos into tubs of lard!
