Well, I got a free 7lb tub of cell-tech and thought i'd put it to use...would never buy it, but got it free so i will. Will the dextrose have a positive effect after cardio? or should i just stick to gatorage?
well the dextrose in Cell-tech is faster acting than the maltodextrin in gatorade, but CT has creatine in it.. props to dextrose, boo to Muscletech, but the question for you is if you want the creatine?
Hey, it was free! Its not going to have a negative effect. Its going to help you recover and get some glycogen back in the muscles, so unless you are particulaly trying to cut hard, i'd go with it...
if you are asking me that question, then i'd say no. it depends what your goals are.. i'm cutting right now, and due to the diuretic effect of thermo's (Trex) and cardio, i feel that a creatine cycle wouldnt be the best thing to be on, unless i were to ingest very high amounts of water.. i know i'm guzzling it down from the Trex alone, and if i were supplementing with creatine (10g per serving of CT), i'm pretty sure my body would want even greater amounts of water.. but if you cut the serving in half, you will get only 5g of creatine, this should be alright for maintenance purposes..
