When something happend in your life-bad or good- did you blame on destiny?

Destiny is something most of us believe to be determined beforehand by fate. Fate is a power believed to control all events and to be impossible to resist.

Some will say that our own destiny was already assigned others will disagree and argue that each and every one of us could influence destiny....

Oh boy.

Dont get me started. I will say this though....I feel that you are put on this Earth and people come into your life for a reason. Ultimately you will fulfill your "destiny" although the choices you make along the way may take you a different route....you will still get there.

I think everything happens in our life happens for a reason. People are put there for a reason, bad things happen for a reason, etc. It's all already been decided for us, and we are simply living out our course.

You may be aware that behind every effect is a cause, nothing happens without a cause.


The cause of Destiny and Fate therefor.... is based on the fact that it is..... the effect of something previously caused.

It's easy to see the effects of some causes, take for example, if you stick your finger in the fire it gets burnt .

That's a real easy one because the effect comes immediately after the cause. But our old friend the Present? Not so easy to figure that one out is it?

For most of us, life is a mystery of cosmic propotions. A mystery we've hardly began to fathom. Since we don't have a clue about all this Destiny and Fate stuff, in our heads it all adds up to something 'out there' pulling the strings.....

Hopefully...someone up there will pull the right strings for me....if not I am...fucked!

I really don`t know if there is or is`nt.

I have a question for those who believe that there are things that happen because they are "meant" to happen. Do you live your lives in a different manner than if you did`nt believe this? Do you make different choices every day because of this fact?

If you`re gonna get "there" anyway, Why do you choose the more difficult path? The more tiring, bothersome, less fun... If the end result is the same?

Fate - due to such things as suicides, car wrecks, etc - is a pretty fucked up thing. For some reason though, I can't see Fate determining that in the course of my life, people would repeatedly try to link me to that Goatse.cx picture.
