depressed again...

Here i am yet depressed again...I've been working so hard at the gym lately.I even gained up to 194lbs in size. Thats almost close to my regular size which is good. My problem is with all this weight im gaining why do i still feel little? I just don't see where its all going. I have tried my best to gain mass in my arms and legs. But all i've is a little tone since working out. I just wish i knew where all the weight was going. Im really confused about this and i will do whatever it takes. Anyways my stats are below:

Height:6'6"
Weight:194
Waist:38 in (maybe 37 not sure)

I'm also ectomorphic which i've read thats its hard to gain any form of muscle mass. Please somebody help me out!

if you are gaining, whats the problem? are you putting on fat? are you eating right?

and be patient, someone as tall as you is going to take longer to fill out

I agree with jerkbox. Your frame is big enough where it will take you longer to notice your gains. Also, if you are just getting into training again, your muscles are probably getting more dense rather than larger at first. That would explain the increase in weight and tone but not much increase in size. Stick with it. :)

no, i don't have much b/f at all...I just wonder where all my weight is going. As far as eating goes i eat about six times a day if you count protein bars and shakes. That would probably make it seven or eight times. Do i really want fat? I mean i've always heard its better to have a lean muscular body. I really don't know though.

Word all good things take time. If you can't see your size coming try to focus on other things like your strength gains. Then before you know it the size will creep up on you.

How long have you been working out?

youre problem is youre 6'6"

20 lbs of muscle for example on tall folk isnt much compared to 20 lbs on a shorter guy.

Then again this added weight could be in the form of cholesterol in your arteries, colon blockages, liver/kidney stones...who knows!

you're tall man, I have the same problem although i weight little more.(220)

girls still dig me though so I'm content with my gains.

you got some fat in the waist area? I'm close to same height as you and weigh more but my waist is around 34 if not less

I started working out two months ago. I like your location thing.

in order to look diffrent than everyone else, you need to train & eat different than everyone else. This board has a ton of info, don't do like the peeps in my gym all they do is train-2 yrs later they have firmed abit, but look almost the same when they started. Learn to eat, grab some Hi-protein shakes thru out the day, after a month if you are still not seeing gains up your calorie intake to 500 extra. eat several smaller servings thru out the day rather than a big meal. this keep your metabolism revved up.
remember consistency is the key, you got to feed those muscles to grow.

Just like Radar just posted above! /\

And give it some time!
A lot of us here have been working out for years.
It's a life long commitment.

Diet is soooo important!
