demotivated by the big guys?!

Not as long as I'm using better form, and still pushy relatively close weight....................

BTW, I'm eating a ketchup packet right now, for no apparent reason......................

That is all.

Dude, do not sweat it! I was totally there once. I am still not heavy by this boards standards. I am only 170, but I am 5'6' and my bf is only 6%. I look like a freak and the big guys ask me how the fuck I got so big. I am 100 lbs lighter than them and do not care because I look better!

I never compare myself to others. Insted I compare myself to what I was and what I am now. Some people have ridiculous genetics and no matter how much you train you will never be their size. So set your goals and monitor your progress - you - should be motivated by your own acomplishments not the acomplishments of others.

lol. that is a point i try to emphasize on here. how you look not how much you weigh. falls on deaf ears bro....:D

Forget what everyone else around you is lifting/thinking. Just train HARD to YOUR levels of failure. And DON'T get tempted into that frame of mind of moving tons of weight as the primary goal (if you're a bodybuilder as opposed to a powerlifter.) I see it all the time at gyms, guys "lifting" way more weight than they can handle while cheating their asses off and their spotter is lifting half the weight. It's better to use a weight you can handle with good form than lots of weight with crappy form (although controlled cheating does have its place.) I do admit that it turns me on to see the bar bending under the weight as I squat, for example, but always use good form.

I notice too how small ordinary people seem now, especially guys who I haven't seen in awhile. I saw a guy at the gym tonight who I used to think was really big, and I'm bigger than him now. Of course, I never forget that it's all relative--If I were standing next to Markus Ruhl, I'd still be puny!!!!!!!! The weirdest thing was with the "biggest" man in my life--my Dad--this Thanksgiving. I hadn't seen him in 2 cycles, and even though he is the same weight as always, he seemed tiny to me. It was almost awkward as I engulfed him with a hug.

yo bro,the way I see it is your in the gym for one reason and one reason only...and thats to train pushing your self to the limits and forcing your body to grow toward your goals..fuck everyone else and what they might think of you ..I know when Im there its all business forget about the small talk and even the hot chicks.dont get me wrong there definitly a plus but only in between sets, when Im in there Its all about me and the burn thats it..:vanp:

Who cares ? There's always someone smaller...or bigger. WE all started somewhere.

I have more respect for a small guy busting balls than a huge guy who trains lazy. I believe that most experienced bodybuilders will agree with that.
