Deca's joint healing properties??? Macro, Fonz??

Hey guys,

I just got back from the Dr. today about my F**ked up lower back.

After conventional chiropractic and physiotherapy didn't completely heal my back, I mentioned to her that I'd read several studies on the internet that concluded that Deca eased joint pain by:

1) producing savinol(sp) fluid within the joints
2) helping the joints retain water which eases the pain
3) reduces the amount of joint killing cortisol in your body.

She responded by telling me that she would consider prescribing it to me if I could print out these studies and show them to her. Of course I can't do a proper search because I'm not "platinum", but I know that I have read posts containing links to similar studies on nandrolone deconate.

If anybody has any links to such studies, or could help explain the mechanisms by which this works, It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Bros

Nandrolone decanoate: pharmacological properties and therapeutic use in osteoporosis.

Geusens P.

Arthritis and Metabolic Bone Disease Research Unit, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Pellenberg, Belgium.

The therapeutic profile on bone of nandrolone decanoate is that of inhibitor of bone resorption with temporary increase in bone formation, followed by an absence of suppression of bone formation, indicating uncoupling of bone resorption and formation. This results is an increase in bone mineral content at the proximal and distal radius, and in some patients at the lumbar spine. Furthermore, nandrolone decanoate increases calcium balance and muscle mass, diminishes vertebral pain and increases the mobility of the spine.

Effect of nandrolone decanoate and 1-alpha-hydroxy-calciferol on patients with vertebral osteoporotic collapse. A double-blind clinical trial.

Lyritis GP, Androulakis C, Magiasis B, Charalambaki Z, Tsakalakos N.

Laboratory for the Research of Musculoskeletal System Th Garofalidis, University of Athens, Faculty of Medicine, KAT Hospital, Kifissia, Greece.

Eighty-eight postmenopausal women with at least one vertebral collapse were randomly assigned to two groups of 44 patients each. All patients were treated for a period of 12 months with 50 mg of nandrolone decanoate every 3 weeks or 1 microgram of 1-alpha-hydroxy-calciferol daily. Both groups received an identical placebo of the inactive drug. Pain intensity was significantly decreased in the nandrolone group and mobility was improved.

Keep in mind most of the studies are done with low doses because the patients are women. They need much less then men.

Hey Hairloss - a BIT off topic (sorry) but I thought I'd share with you my story (quickly). I screwed up my back about 3 years ago. It was a combination of genetics, years of long distance running and poor lifting technique (standing cheat curls - emphesis on the cheat). I ended up with 3 herniated disks in the lower back. My doc sent me to a "Sports Medicine" doc to go over my condition and basically said there were 3 treatments 1. Physical Therapy (one I chose - didn't do shit) 2. Surgery (no thanks - usually makes things worse) 3. Injections of cortisone (doesnt heal anything and will probably make things worse). Well, ended up that I was in constant pain for 2 years.

Here is where is gets interesting - I finally decided to do my first cycle (Tren 75Mg EOD and Prop 100 MG EOD). Within 4 weeks, by back was completely healed. No shit. Docs told me that I would NEVER be healed. I've spoken about this a NUMBER of times on the board because I figure there are probably some people out there who could build on this/learn from it. I AM NOT CONDONING THE USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS TO HEAL YOURSELF, I am just relating my story. I haven't tried Deca yet (not as easy for me to get) but I know that it is similar in many ways to tren (and supposed to be even better than tren for joint healing). Let me know how it goes for you - maybe my next cycle I'll try and substitute tren with Deca... As it stands now though, I have been healed from an impossilble to heal injury using illegal drugs that kill you <- at least that is what our society and most docs will tell ya :D.

No problem guru - let me know if your doc accepts this... maybe I should approach my doc about it too? I had an MRI done way back when the condition first started... hopefully I won't need another one, because the back is probably fully healed now :D.
