Ok I know this has been talked about millions of times butu I would like an updated opinion.

Paukl Borresson once said Deca would be the one steroid he would use if he could just choose one. (and he knew his shit, from what I understand)

Growing up I always heard about Deca being the safest steroid out there, keeping all your gains (cause it was pure muscle).

there must be a reason why 2thick or decaman like this roid.

Now after reading post by members I hear Deca causing impotence and gyno.

What is the bottom line?

Bottom line is that deca is a great all-around steroid. You can use it in almost
any cutting or mass stack. The gains are solid and for the most part permamnent.
I don't know why eveyone bashes deca. I get deca dick, but that lasts only for
a few weeks, and I use higher amounts than most (500-600mgs). Most people
go with 400 mgs and they should not have a problem

Gyno is very rare fromdeca cause it aromitizes so poorly. If you get gyno from
400 mgs/week or lessof deca, it's 'cause you're really sensitive to progesterone.
The other 99% of us out there will be just fine.

I personally love Deca. My last cycle I gained 12 solid pounds that I have kept to this day. However, some of the Testosterone boys on this board would disagree. Don't get me wrong, I like Test too. I guess everyone responds differently.

Everyone has there own opinion on this subject. Alot of people love Test and then there are some who like Deca, it is personal preferance. I myself love the results and feeling while on Test but to be fare I have never tried Deca so I can't say anything good or bad about it from personal expirience.

Just because there are anti-e's available doesn't reduce the effectiveness
of deca. People shy away from deca because they're scared the might get
gyno and not be able to do anything about it. The fact is, deca aromitizes
so poorly, that at a moderste dosage, say 400mgs, you'd have to be
REALLY sensitive to progesterone to get gyno.

Hevens, there is more than one cause of gyno. The meds you mentioned only stop one kind, estrogen related gyno. Deca, anadrol, and fina both bind to the progesterone receptor, so they have the ability to cause gyno that is not estrogen related. The only way to for sure stop it is ru-486. The jury is out whether or not fina can cause gyno, but it has a greater afinity for the progesterone receptor than progesterone, so most people err on the side of caution.

Also, I seem to recall a post about deca by Animal (not animal b) that stated deca also aromatized into estrogen. So it can be a double whammy.

Anyways, I still think deca gets a bum rap around here. To each there own, it's not like you can only do one type of gear for the rest of eternity. And deca is a great drug, no doubt about it.

I was referring to how anti-e's have taken the "gamble" out of using Test. I was not knocking Deca. Unfortunately, I am old enough to recall the environment that lead to Deca gaining such acclaim, to be frequently referred to as "the Best AS choice"....it was an environment that had Test users juggling pyramid configurations for their stacks to avoid gyno and other sides. Today, you can use Test with more certainty as to combatting sides than you can Deca----the anti-e's have made a significant difference to the state of the Test v. Deca debate.

True, anti-e's have taken alot of the gamble out of Test, but why the "Test VS Deca" debate in the
first place? Test is great, and so is deca. Period. I like them both, but there's so much deca bashing
on this board, I don't understand it.

Deca is a great all-purpose drug. It can be used in cutting cycles, or bulking cycles. It aromitizes
poorly, and gives good, solid, keepable gains.
