I just aquired a bottle of deca qv 300 and want to know what are the things to look out for. How can I tell if its a fake??

Check batch Number....make sure top has QV on it...peel hologram and make sure it peels in pentagons....then use.
Can anyone explain to me why the Batch #'s mean anything? They are listed in sequential order, son evryone knows what the next batch # will be. And why wouldn't counterfeiters just get the batch # from the website and print it on the bottle???? Is this just me??
Also, how diligent are they in updating the Batch #'s, because I saw a bottle with batch # 3019, when the last # updated on the website was 3018? I figured it just wasn't updated yet.
