Deca and topical dht blockers

Hey guys,
im having some trouble figuring this whole hair loss issue out. I have been on dutasteride for 6 months now and have managed to grow back a significant amount of hair, even through a test cycle. I am doing a deca cycle soon and have therefore stopped the duta last month to prepare(because the two dont mix). I bought topical spiro to keep the hair i have while on this cycle. Once done i will hop back on the duta.
I am having doughts on using the topical now because i read that it blocks the 5ar enzyme in the scalp, which is not good when using deca. However the enzyme would still be functional everywhere else except my scalp, and therefore allow deca to convert to the less harmful DHN.
what do you guys think? can the two mix?..im kind of going crazy over this

I presume you are taking Test with the Deca?

In which case continue the dutasteride as the test DHT is more damaging to your hair line than the non reduced Nandralone. Either way, taking both of these there is no straight forward solution but I believe that's the best one.

Topical spiro is a good idea as is nizoral shampoo and toco 8 but bear in mind with the spiro its basically impossible to apply to places which are shedding but arent quite clear because then you would just be putting it on your hair...

im actually not going to use test this cycle. This will be my fourth cycle, my first being deca only and my last two being mainly test cycles. I experienced no sides + great gains with the deca, and basically the opposite with the test cycles. and yes pct diet and work out routines were all in check.
so basically i dont need to worry about test hairloss this cycle, only my naty levels and dhn/deca hairloss.
im still not sure if spiro would be smart with deca???

I asked almost this same question before and never really received a clear cut answer. Basically you're asking if topical DHT blockers end up reacting the same way inside the body that oral DHT blockers will?? I was curious about this too, but I was more concerned about the topical solutions hindering gains in the same way that the orals do?? I was looking into using a similar product to Xandrox during my upcoming Test, Eq, Tren cycle and was hoping it wouldn't block DHT throughout my body, just on the scalp.

Did you ever think that maybe the reason you didn't get the results you wanted off your test only cycle was because you were taking the avodart?? I know It kills your DHT levels which you need to receive all those wonderful androgenic effects benefits. And test converts to DHT at a fairly high rate.

@ casey; no thats not really what i was asking. I believe the topical dht blocker and the avodart work the same way in stoping the actual enzyme that produces dht. i would like to know if i can use the topical with deca. I may have to just resort to using rogain only on this cycle, and hope for the best. As for the dht blocker hindering gains, i dont think thats what happened. I gained significant weight and strength on both test cycles, but lost alot of it afterwards. my deca cycle i kept all and added a few more during pct as well. My test cycles both had annoying sides, but the only side i experienced with the deca was depression towards the end (may have been shutdown, but blood results said otherwise)

how much deca did you run the first cycle? and how much do you plan on running this cycle? I would recommend using rogaine and need2 shampoo.

I ran 300 mg solo=14pounds net.
im running 400mg this time plus an equal amount of eq. Adding cabaser and also arimidex if need be.
what is need2 shampoo??
