Walter Jennings was pledging the Psi Epsilon Chi fraternity. He had just finished a ten-day pledge cycle when authorities say he was made to drink pitchers of water poured through a funnel.

Police say he later died from brain swelling caused by water intoxication.

ok lemme take a look at it. i may or may respond because i'm still kind of pissed that you no longer have any kitchen appliances in your anavatarn. can't you at least be holding like a can opener or maybe a toaster if you're going to put up a physique shot?

I guess for me I'd rather be lonely than allow myself to be degraded for the sake of acceptance. It's just sad....and it's also irresponsible on the part of those who opted to put those guys through that. we had two pledges walk out right before hell week, because another active held one of thier heads under water, and he wouldnt let him up until someone said the activation # of his pledge dad.

the kid almost passed out.

it was fucking stupid.

I just think it is funny when it is pointed out to frat guys that the original fraternities were created by Greeks and were basically big homosexual clubs that met in secret to avoid persecution.

Much of the hazing that goes on is homsexual type stuff: anyone ever done the elephant walk? An anal chug? If you're in a frat you probably did something like that.

i never had to do anything remotely 'homo', when i was pledging.

however, one of my friends, who rushed ATO, had to do the crab walk naked and pick up banannas, that were in a kiddy pool of chocolate syrup, with his ass and walk around that way (crab walk) in front of all of the actives.

i would have been like, 'peace guys' and left. i never valued being in a fraternity that much to do something like that.

I'm so fucking glad that no-one ever tried to pull this shit on me ,please do not do me the favour of explainin any of that stuff you mention. There was a thread a while back here about some military guy who wanted to know if he was gay for raping some guys ass as part of one of these rituals. Personally I think that a society that permits this kinda shit is goin straight to hell. I have heard similar stories about new recruits to guys in English platoons.
