Deadlifted today! 12-10-03

I started with sum warm-ups 135

1st set- 315 - 10 reps

2nd set- 365 - 10 reps

3rd set - 405 - 6 reps

4th set - 455 - 1 rep

5th set- 465 - 1 REP MAX!!!!

Felt a slight pull in the hip area ( Hernia feeling) so i stopped

But this is the most I've ever tried and got it!!!

I LOVE DEADLIFTS!! :insane:
 
strong. this was meant to be a regular workout for reps, and not a max attempt, right? your true 1RM is definitely higher. a lot of that work from 315-405 would be superfluous and even detrimental if you were actually going for a max single. if you warmup differently, 495 (5 plates) is probably yours.

Ya i was a regular workout, im leaving friday for home, finals week, so i just wanted to see what my max was before break...
I felt really good today and I just wanted to see what i could max out at.. also I felt that straining in the hiop area.. so i stoppped

But i still think i did really well.
